• Joel Bundick - Senior Pastor

Pastor Joel  has served as Community of Grace’s lead pastor since 2009. Joel has a genuine love for people and helping people to focus on who God has created them to be. He appreciates the caring community of COG and the sincerity of its people in their passion for God’s Word. He considers the friendships he’s developed here to be some of the richest of his life. Joel and his wife Catherine have two grown sons, both of whom live in the Denver area with their wives. When he’s not spending time with his family or the people of COG, you’ll often find Joel in his kayak out at Quincy Reservoir hoping for some naïve bass to hit his line. He also enjoys woodworking and smoking meat.

  • Christopher Hart - Associate Pastor

Pastor Chris and his wife Melanie have been members of COG since 2006. A military change of station originally brought the Harts to the Denver area, and they were attracted to COG’s reliance on the Word of God as a life compass and loved the community feel of our church. Chris served as an elder for many years before being called into full-time ministry in the spring of 2019. Chris and Melanie, married for over thirty years, have three adult children and two grandchildren.  Chris enjoys hiking, grilling, watching movies, reading, and spending time with his family and friends.

Pastor J. serves as Pastor of Youth & Discipleship serving 6th-12th grade students and their families. He and his wife Amanda, along with their two children, have been part of Community of Grace for years, eventually leading to J. stepping into the role of youth pastor in May of 2019. J. considers himself to be "a teenager stuck in a 30-something body" and is a big reason why  he connects so well to students. He enjoys connecting on a personal level with students and the challenge of preparing and presenting biblical truth in engaging and memorable ways. When he’s not spending time with his family or our students, J. enjoys working on his  house and mountain adventures; including off-roading, mountain biking and hiking.

  • Samantha Sloan - Children's Director

Samantha Sloan is our children’s ministry director. She and her husband Josh were looking for a church where they would find support and community in which to raise their children; they found that at COG in 2017. Having been a homeschool kid herself, Samantha has the joy of homeschooling her two young children. In her free time, you’ll typically find Samantha reading a book, hosting family dinner and game nights, or spending time with friends. As children’s director, she looks forward to watching the children of the community come to faith, grow in faith, and share their faith. She’s also excited to grow as God works in her, knowing there are many things God will teach her through her work with our children.

  • David Finton - Worship Pastor

David Finton is Community of Grace's worship pastor. He, his wife Ellie, and their two children have been part of COG since 2016, and David came on staff as our worship pastor in 2019. One of the things he appreciates most about Community of Grace is that this church is real: we know that everyone has hurts, struggles, and faults; and he's seen the people of COG embrace each other and provide support like a family should in the midst of those. In his spare time, David enjoys recording music, playing video games, and reading fantasy novels.

  • John Carroll  -  Media Director

John Carroll is in charge of the media at Community of Grace. He and his wife, Nancy, along with their two children, have been at COG since 2013; and his favorite part of Community of Grace is its sense of community. John helps run a Denver public access channel, and he brings years of media experience from working at places like Red Rocks, where he did video production. John enjoys playing video games and plays in a punk band.

Rhonda has a depth of financial experience, having been an accountant since she graduated from college.
